The Mary Anning Club was created as part of my Silver Award for Girl Scouts. The intention is to share my experiences to show people of all ages and walks of life how paleontology is fascinating and exciting!

Going for the Gold!!!

I have been a Girl Scout for 9 years.  I am currently working on earning my Gold Award.  See the link above to understand everything that is required to earn it.  The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award in Girl Scouting and is earned by less than 6% of all Girl Scouts.

I have just received approval to begin work on my Gold Award.  I plan to construct a touch cart that contains items that have been found by HMNS (Houston Museum of Natural Science) dig teams in Northwest Texas during the Permian time period.  Here are some items I plan on including:
